Everyone experiences bouts of anxiety and it is a normal response to situations that come at us every day. Being paranoid is a different form of anxiety that makes the person believe that someone is out to get them and causes them extreme mistrust.

Everyone worries from time to time and this is part of the way that we survive. We have this instinct because if we are not able to be afraid of danger, we will not avoid it. The first thing that you need to do is try to control your breathing. Learning to deep breathe and meditate can help you to calm your thoughts and help you to be more logical and rational about what is going on around you.

Once you have calmed down, ask yourself why you are reacting the way that you are. What are you facing? What is causing you to feel anxious? What can you do to deal with this?

Learn to understand if you are being reasonable and logical with your emotions or if you are letting them get the best of you.
